San Juan del Sur

Time to get to Nicaragua...
Even if the border seemed so close, it took us about 6 hours to get there. This was the worst trip I had. Few hours after we left Fortuna, there was an accident, a motorcycle vs a truck and the bus stopped for about one hour. No ambulance arrived, only two men with blue gloves. The man on the motorcycle probably died instantly. It was very sad. From what a local told me, if there is no hope, no ambulance will show up.
After we got to the the border, I took a taxi with two other guys I met on the bus to go to San Juan del Sur. I followed them to the hostel they wanted to go. The view was spectacular, probably one of the best spot in all the town, but there I spent the worst hostel night till now (of course, now I'm writing from another hostel). It was a party hostel, this means that people got there to get drunk (and not only) and having fun. The result was quite dramatic: music was very loud till 4:30 am, people were so high that were screaming all night, laughing or shouting or beating each other. I couldn't sleep at all.
(One point for this Israeli guy that offered me to exchange beds because mine was in the noisiest place of the hostel).
I got up at 7 am and I wanted to check out. No check out before 8 am. What?!? I just wanted to run away from there.
Now I'm in this little hostel run by locals, next to the beach, very quiet and with nice people. I'm too old for party hostels!
The town is touristic but nice. Today is Sunday so the town is completely invaded by local people. There are different beaches, some with big waves to surf, other with calm waters to swim in.
I'm leaving soon for a quieter place : Isla Omepete on Lake Nicaragua.
